How to order a repeat prescription

· Online via the NHS app – please follow this link to register

· By hand – Please leave your written request for repeats at reception

· By post – Fill in the prescription form using the slip issued with your last prescription and post it to the surgery with enclosed stamped and addressed envelope.

Processing time

Please allow five working days for us to process your prescription

Nominated pharmacy

You can ask us to arrange for your prescription to be sent to the chemist of your choice. Please see here more information on how to nominate a pharmacy

Medication Review

You may be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse before your next repeat prescription is due. This is so that your medication can be assessed and altered as necessary.

How to dispose of old medication

Take it to the pharmacy you got it from or bring it in to the surgery. Do not put it in your household bin or flush it down the toilet.

As qualified healthcare professionals, pharmacists can offer advice on minor illnesses such as:

· sore throats

· tummy trouble

· aches and pains

They can also advise on medicine that you can buy without a prescription.

Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You do not need an appointment.

Most pharmacies have a private consultation room where you can discuss issues with pharmacy staff without being overheard.
